The Very Forgiving Beanie, as the name suggests is very accommodating and forgiving! This is a Seamless, no-sew pattern that is worked from the brim, starting as a headband!

  • It's quick and fun to make with just a few repeated instructions and without the hassle of stitch counts! This tutorial/pattern will make a beanie starting bottom-up.

  • It’s worked with stretchy and cozy band and worked upward to make a fitted or a slouchy beanie.

My Inspiration:



I went thru a crafting slump this year, when I lost a very dear family member. Making something that symbolizes him and in a color of his choice, was the only way to celebrate him and move on!

Hence, the Very Forgiving Beanie - dedicated to the most loving and kind hearted person.

Materials used:

The Beanie has been made with

Denimz by Heartbeart Yarns (Medium/ 4 weight yarn)

This yarn has a Yardage of approximately 246 yards for 100g.


i have used approximately 125 -140 yards.







What the PDF contains:

This tutorial/pattern will make a beanie starting bottom-up. It’s worked with stretchy and cozy band and worked upward to make a fitted or a slouchy beanie. It’s snug enough to keep you warm, while it’s also lacy enough to avoid overheating.


The Very Forgiving Beanie is just as its name suggests. Quick and fun to make with just a few repeated instructions and without the hassle of stitch counts!


SIZE: The band of the beanie is approximately 4.3 inches in width. The length of the band can be customized based on the head size. The band is stretchy, so check before joining the band.

Featured pictures, the light variant was made with a 5mm hook and fits a teen/adult small.the darker variant is made to fit tight using a 4mm hook. to show the size variation.
