As a crafter, a Granny Square/stitch is the first and the easiest pattern to work with. be it making a blanket, cushions etc. Granny Square was the first project we taught our students during our crochet workshops. Dina (aara.by.dina), a dear friend and fellow crafter, was conducing these workshops with me. Hence this pattern seemed apt to be named after her as a gift for her birth month in October.
Dainty Granny Coaster is a very adaptable pattern that works with any weight of yarn, and can me customized to match the size you need.

About Pattern: A fun and quirky bookmark, adding a ‘star on the top’ to a textured Christmas tree bookmark.
COMPLETED SIZE: The pictured Coasters measure approximately 4 inches (Rectangular).
If yarn used is thicker, the size may vary accordingly.
The stitches and repeats can be adjusted accordingly to get a Bigger sized coaster!

● Yarn of choice - DK weight I HAVE USED: Laura Knitting Cotton (LKC) for the Coasters featured in the document.
● Crochet hook - preferred hook that works with chosen yarn. I HAVE USED: Size G hook/ 4mm ● Stitch Markers, scissors and a needle to finish up.
Gauge: n/a. The pattern is adaptable to any weight of yarn, the size and thickness of the coaster made will vary.
